Welcome to My Aice Media Studies Blog

Greetings! My name is Yusef, and I am not very experienced when it comes to Media Studies, but I am hoping to learn a lot. I have not seen many movies, but when I do, I sometimes get curious about how certain scenes are made. I love seeing the behind-the-scenes of movies because it is impressive how people can bring things to life and how the final result looks. Being able to learn all these camera movements and techniques seems impossible, but I am going to make sure to try my best on whatever I create and work on. I have always loved editing, and being able to learn that also makes me happy. I am excited about what I will learn next.

My hobbies include playing the piano and discovering new artists to expand my music taste. If I have the option to add music to any future projects, I would, because it helps set the atmosphere.

I have close to zero experience in Media Studies. However, once I saw the class, it interested me because it is something I have always been curious about. So far, I have enjoyed what has been shown, and when I watch movies now, I start to notice all the techniques I have been taught so far.
 
My goal is to make a film for my portfolio that I can be proud of, knowing I did my best. I also want to learn things that may be useful in a future job or in life.
